1. Do you have to be a pilot to buy this bag tag  No these are for anyone interested in aviation and the 172
   
2. Where are these luggage tags made?  They are made in our shop in Clermont Florida USA.
3. When you say road tested what does that mean?  We work in the aviation industry as pilots and flight attendants.  This means when we make a new luggage tag or find a new vendor, we strap on those tags to our luggage and head out to the airport.  We slam them around, run them through the conveyor belt at TSA, scrape them on the crew van and see how they hold up.  We test the straps and the tags and have never had any failures.
4. Can I buy these on Amazon?  Some of our luggage tags are on Amazon, some are not.  You will have to take a look for yourself
5. What does anodized aluminum mean and why should I care?  Anodized aluminum is referring to the finish put on the luggage tags.  Anodized finishes look shiny and resist cracks due to the process they undergo when creating the finish.
