CFII Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Acrylic Sign

The approach briefings. The holding entries. The instrument scan practiced until small deviations became easy to recognize and correct. Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument, commonly called a CFII, means learning to teach those skills with clarity, patience, and sound judgment.

This original Airspeed Junkie CFII sign celebrates the preparation behind that milestone and the responsibility of helping other pilots fly confidently by reference to instruments. Its message is simple: Earned Not Given.

The artwork pairs bold Certified Flight Instructor Instrument lettering with a gold winged compass and the words Inspire, Teach, Learn. Aviation chart details surround a cloud covered mountain airport scene, with glowing green flight display symbology and runway lights reflected across wet pavement.

A CFII Gift That Recognizes the Work

Knowing how to fly an approach is one thing. Teaching a student to manage the airplane, interpret a clearance, maintain an effective scan, and stay ahead of the next task takes another level of preparation.

Celebrate a successful CFII checkride, mark your own instrument instructor milestone, or thank the instructor who helped make IFR flying click. This 12 x 12 inch acrylic sign gives that achievement a place in an office, flight school briefing room, den, or hangar.

Inspire. Teach. Learn.

An approach flown with less prompting. A holding clearance understood instead of memorized. A student recognizing when to go missed and executing the procedure with confidence. Instrument instruction is built on those moments of understanding.

Part of Airspeed Junkie's Earned Not Given line, this design honors both the work behind earning the instrument instructor rating and the dedication it takes to help other pilots develop disciplined IFR habits.
