Design:
This is a custom design featuring our engraved graphic. All of our graphics are laser engraved into the wood. This creates a unique look and a nice conversation starter if the cutting board is used for displaying food.Care:
- All Cutting boards need periodic care and these are no different. Occasionally pending the amount of use you will need to reseal or "oil" your board. You can use a variety of cooking oils such as Wesson oil or a sealer that is kitchen safe.
- Hand wash this item only
- If design starts to fade you can darken it by applying a layer of linseed oil to the top of the board. Let dry thoroughly 24 hrs and then hand wash and put a light layer of vegetable oil over the top.
- Make sure to clean all inlay where design is engraved, there will be a slight divet where the design was engraved (burned) into the wood. These areas can attract food and waste if not thoroughly hand washed after use.

Who does the engraving?
We do all the custom engraving in house for this product. The majority of the products carried on our site are made in house. That is a fact that most other sites cannot claim.
How long does it take to make one?
We have them in stock and ready to go. If for some reason we had to make one on the fly, it would be about 20 minutes.
Can I personalize this item with my name or the name of someone else?
You can if you contact us via the chat button or email in the lower right hand corner. We will definitely get back to you. There is room on here for a name but not another graphic. We would only consider names or a small phrase such as "Congratulations on your retirement" type of thing.
When you say this is the best gift option what do you mean?
Online there are very few choices for airline crew members. Most of the time the products offered are not very well done. The airline audience has never really been focused on because of the smallness of the group. (until now) We think its a good idea.
Is Bamboo the best material for cutting boards?
Wooden cutting boards are either made of bamboo or a hardwood such as maple. This mostly comes down to preference and price. Hardwoods are very expensive in todays marketplace and bamboo is a fast growing wood so the price tends to be much more competitive and just as hard.
Can I hang this on the wall instead?
Lots of people do that in a country type of kitchen. The larger cutting board has a handle that makes it easy to hang.
